Please join us Thursday, July 19th from 11am to 1pm for the opening reception of Masters of Puppets at The Museum of Modern Art’s Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education Building.  The exhibition is the result of our ongoing collaboration with MOMA staff and will be on view from July 13th to August 8th, 2012.

We’ve submitted our application for the 2012 Dumbo Arts Festival. This year’s show, Celebrity Sightings, will showcase work by all LAND artists, including new celebrity paintings by Michael Pellew, pop star portraits by Myasia Dowdell, celebrity diet drawings by Kenya Hanley, and designer shoe sculptures by Byron Smith.

LAND will participate in this year’s Outsider Art Fair, January 26th to the 29th at 7 West 34th st.  For the first time, we will have our own booth (booth #D4), so we’re excited to have the chance to show a lot of work by all of our artists.  We’ll be in good company with other returning exhibitors like Creative Growth, Fountain Gallery and Make Skateboards. This is also the 20th anniversary of the fair, so there will be special anniversary programming by The American Folk Art Museum, El Museo del Barrio, and more.  We look forward to seeing you there!
