Join the LAND Studio & Gallery Program

For the first time since its founding, LAND will be expanding its services. We are now accepting applications for up to 15 new artists to join our unique program.

Since 2005, League Education and Treatment Center’s LAND Day Habilitation program has been a place for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create and grow alongside others with similar interests, talents, and challenges.

Are you an artist with an intellectual disability looking for an art studio? Do you provide services for an individual with an interest and passion for art?

This is your chance to apply to our expanding program.

Today, LAND supports fifteen artists at our studio and gallery in DUMBO, Brooklyn. We provide artists with high quality art materials, workspace, a community of peers, and a platform to expand and share their art making practice. This unique day habilitation program gives artists with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to learn new skills and engage with the community. LAND offers innovative programming in a nurturing environment. The program focuses on drawing, painting, sculpture, and other artistic mediums to foster creativity, independence, and improved social skills. The LAND staff expose the work produced in the studio to galleries, museums, and art fairs in the US and around the world.

Eligible artists must be medicaid waivered and 21 years or older with an intellectual disability. LAND is a part of the larger League Education Treatment Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit and internationally recognized agency for evaluation, treatment and education of individuals with disabilities.

To apply, please call our studio at (917) 670-9322 or complete the form below to email our staff.
