Matthew Bede Murphy
Curator

Artist and Curator Matthew Bede Murphy co-founded the LAND Gallery and Studio in 2003. Matthew has over 20 years of experience serving developmentally disabled adults in art-related affiliations. He has partnered with museums, galleries, non-profits, and other institutions stressing inclusion, advocacy, and collections.
Dmitriy Kosoy
Client Coordinator

Dmitriy joined LAND Studio and Gallery with over seven years of experience in various roles serving developmentally disabled adults, including specialized programs. His creative endeavors include music and photography, with additional interests in drawing and painting. Dmitriy has freelanced as a photographer and assisted with video projects. He has a portfolio of digital media and book collaborations featured in various events and festivals. Furthermore, Dmitriy has experience providing support for fundraisers and has press mentions in various local publications.
Valerie Mouzon
Art Specialist
Valerie began working at LETC in 1990 in the children’s program. In 2003, she moved to the adult program and soon began working at LAND as an art specialist. Valerie arranges and oversees community visits for our artists, including trips to local art venues. Val is an artist and volunteers at the Brooklyn Tabernacle. As a member of the tabernacle's design team, she creates backdrops, props and murals. She's also a make-up artist in the their drama department.
Meredith Stein
Art Therapist & Client Coordinator

Meredith is a licensed Creative Arts Therapist with a BFA in Visual Arts Studies from Roger Williams University and an MPS in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute. Meredith uses a person-centered, humanistic approach in art therapy in combination with her background of teaching art and yoga to complement her practice of working with the LAND artists. She strives to develop each artist’s unique skill sets, to promote an enriched life and positive well-being.
